Ministerio Entregar Esperanza

Our current focus is a project in the village of La Giralda, located in the mountains of central Guatemala near the city of Tecpán.  On our visits over the past several years, we’ve seen a community with remarkably resilient, kind, and caring spirits, but struggling hard with lack of resources – food, shelter, education, and healthcare.  

In short, the people of La Giralda are rich on the inside but face fierce poverty on the outside.  
 

The construction of a community center in La Giralda will provide food, skills training, and various life assistance programs for those in need.  Success looks like helping the community level up the external environment to better align with the beautiful inner spirit of its people.   

We already have an amazing piece of property in the foothills next to the village, a brand new well, completed architectural plans, and initial excavation has begun.  
 

Over the next several months the excavation and foundation work will be done, and a 25-person strong construction mission trip is scheduled for April 5-12 to complete the initial phase of development – a children’s meal kitchen and temporary quarters for our local mission leaders.  
 

Our partner, Revvelation Motors, has committed to matching donations dollar for dollar until the construction is complete, so each contribution has a 2X benefit toward our goal!
